Kenton – Founder/Introducer
Having 20 years’ experience in the Financial Services industry Kenton has learnt that the best way to help someone is to listen, ask questions, understand before giving advice. At Aspire, we believe that every person should have access to the best advice and support when buying a property, whether it be a home, a Buy-to-Let or a commercial property. This is the guiding principle by which Kenton looks after clients.
Kenton began his Financial Services journey in Wills and Estate Planning after family members experienced poor advice that resulted in financial loss; even impacting on future generations. He knew that there should be a better way to help people through the process of financial advice by educating them in their options when it comes to planning and taking action with their finances. As the co-founder and partner with Richard Tadman of the Bideford branch of Aspire Financial Services, every enquiry is treated with equal importance to get to the heart of what our client aspires to do, whether it be a straight forward or complex case.
When not involved in finding the best mortgage or insurance product for my clients, Kenton enjoys spending time with his wife, two children and five grandchildren. You will also find him cycling along the Tarka Trail rain or shine. He is also involved in local and national Christian Church activities through public speaking and ministry.
Richard – Founder/Adviser
Prior to co-founding Aspire with Kenton, Richard worked in the corporate blue-chip environment for over 25 years.
Richard lives with his wife Lindis in Congleton in Cheshire and covers Cheshire, Staffordshire and South Manchester. When not helping people with mortgages Richard can be found running, cycling or musically directing shows in the local theatre.
Richard’s strength lies in the ability to educate and inform, making complex things simple, helping people to understand how to plan their property investments wisely, and how to protect them.
He is easy going yet thorough, and very responsive to queries all the way through the case from start to finish, keeping you informed and up to date. If asked, he will also swap curry recipes with you – a very worthwhile exercise where he is concerned.
Ephraim - Adviser
Ephraim has spent over 15 years in people-facing consultative roles, He finds his ability to provide guidance, often in very specialist or complex areas very rewarding and it is this skill that he brings to Aspire Financial Services. He is an experienced professional who believes completely in the importance of giving quality advice.

This consultative experience means he is well placed to help you achieve the desired outcome for your specific challenge.
Following an earlier career as a mechanical engineer he transitioned into working in IT and Software, and finally into finance, following a move to Taunton in 2017.
Ephraim loves the world of motorcycling and holds the “IAMRoadsmart” advanced rider qualification, which he recommends to anyone who rides. The qualification delivers a new perspective, enhanced awareness and skills on the road. – a useful analogy when it comes to the complex world of mortgage advice. His fascination for history and exploring, naturally leads to many a day out and a cream tea with the National Trust.
